A review does not require a switch
Maybe you like your plan but started a new prescription. Maybe your costs changed, or you want to double-check next year’s coverage. Bring those questions. Staying with your current coverage may be one of the options you consider.
Look beyond the monthly premium
Review the plan’s notices and consider prescriptions, doctor access, pharmacies, and other costs. Compare the details against the care you expect to use, rather than deciding from one advertised feature.
Prepare for Annual Enrollment
The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, often called AEP or Open Enrollment, runs October 15–December 7. The changes you can make depend on the type of coverage. Medicare Supplement changes follow different rules.
- Gather your current plan card and annual notice.
- Update your doctor and prescription lists.
- Write down anything that disappointed or surprised you this year.
